DEBRA ARCHETTO - TOWN COUNCIL WEST GREENVILLE ROAD Debra is a 24-year resident of Scituate and a life-long Rhode Islander. She is a licenced pharmacist, and will bring a needed problem-solving spirit to the town council. Debra is committed to exploring ways to expand our property tax base to relieve the pressure on homeowners’ increasing tax bills, and pledges to support the needs of our public schools and make them safe and secure as we address the COVID-19 crisis at the local level. Her main goal is to work with all members of the community to help build consensus and support on issues that affect the entire community. Active in town, Debra served on the North Scituate Elementary School Improvement team and was a CCD teacher at St. Joseph’s Church. She and her husband Paul are the parents of two adult children, both of whom attended Scituate’s public schools. “I am running to help improve our community and to ensure that our town government is open and transparent in its decision making. This year has highlighted how quickly things can change, but I am dedicated to working with my Council colleagues to deliver reasonable budgets, essential services, and a government that is accountable and accessible to every voter and resident.”
